Statement of Faith
Warpath Ministries – Statement of Faith
Our Foundation
The following Statement of Faith expresses the essential biblical doctrines that guide and govern the mission, leadership, teaching, outreach, and daily operation of Warpath Ministries. These truths are non-negotiable and form the spiritual foundation upon which our ministry stands as we contend for faith, truth, freedom, and redemption through Jesus Christ.
The Holy Scriptures
We believe the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, inerrant, infallible, and authoritative Word of God (sola Scriptura). Scripture is God-breathed and is the final authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, morality, and practice. Through it, God reveals His will, His redemptive plan, and His truth to humanity.
The One True God (The Trinity)
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who are co-equal, co-eternal, and of one essence. God is holy, sovereign, omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, and unchanging, and He alone is worthy of worship and obedience.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. We affirm His virgin birth, sinless life, authoritative teaching, miraculous works, substitutionary and atoning death on the cross, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His promised return in power and glory.
Jesus Christ is the only Savior, the only mediator between God and man, and the Lord of all creation. Salvation, authority, freedom, and victory over sin, death, and the powers of darkness are found in Him alone.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is a distinct Person of the Trinity who actively works in the world and in the lives of believers. He glorifies Christ and applies the finished work of salvation to the believer.
The Holy Spirit:
· Convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment
· Regenerates those who respond in faith, causing them to be born again
· Indwells believers at salvation and seals them for redemption
· Sanctifies believers, conforming them into the image of Christ
· Empowers believers for holy living, witness, and spiritual warfare
· Distributes spiritual gifts for the edification of the Church
· Teaches, guides, strengthens, and intercedes for believers
· Fills believers, enabling them to walk in obedience and authority
We affirm that the Holy Spirit equips believers to stand firm against the schemes of the enemy and to advance the Kingdom of God.
Salvation
We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Salvation is accomplished solely through the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross and not by human effort or merit.
Salvation involves repentance from sin, faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, regeneration by the Holy Spirit, justification before God, and a transformed life marked by obedience. While good works do not earn salvation, true saving faith produces a life of fruit, surrender, and faith-filled obedience to God.
The Church
We believe in the universal Church, the body of Christ, composed of all true believers across all nations and generations. The Church exists both globally and locally and is called to worship God, equip the saints, care for one another, confront darkness with truth, and make disciples of all nations.
We affirm that the Church is not passive, but a mobilized body, commissioned to advance the Kingdom of God through love, truth, holiness, service, and spiritual authority in Christ.
Baptism and the Lord’s Supper
We believe water baptism is an outward declaration of an inward transformation, symbolizing identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. Baptism follows repentance and faith and is an act of obedience to Christ.
We believe in the Lord’s Supper (Communion) as a sacred ordinance through which believers remember and proclaim the death, resurrection, and promised return of Jesus Christ until He comes again.
The Second Coming of Christ
We believe in the personal, visible, and bodily return of Jesus Christ. He will return in power and glory to judge the living and the dead, defeat all evil, and establish His eternal Kingdom. This future hope motivates holiness, perseverance, and faithful service.
Eternal Destiny
We believe every person has an eternal destiny. Those who place their faith in Jesus Christ will spend eternity in the presence of God, enjoying everlasting life. Those who reject Christ will face eternal separation from God. God desires that none should perish, and the gospel remains the only hope of salvation.
Christian Living and Spiritual Warfare
We believe every believer is called to live a life of holiness, obedience, and devotion to Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit. Believers are called to deny themselves, take up their cross, and follow Jesus daily.
We affirm that the Christian life involves spiritual warfare against sin, the flesh, and the forces of darkness. Through Christ, believers are equipped with spiritual armor, authority, and truth to stand firm, resist the enemy, and walk in freedom while proclaiming the gospel with boldness, love, and compassion.
